Some of my faith is restored

This article on NPR is revealing and is not to be taken lightly. It’s very serious and I’ve never read anything like it.

It appears that men and women in our military are, and have been for some time, speaking of a desire to leave active service or qualify for Conscientious Objector status.

In March, the number of calls to an agent who helps with just that kind of thing took on twice the number of clients it usually takes in a year.

The article reports that a growing discontent and disconnect is present in our military, and that the Israeli -U.S. war against Iran is making it all worse.

I had just begun a draft condemning all of our military for killing civilians in Iran, especially that girl’s school. It’s war crimes the likes of which only Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth could get off on, and I should have known that dissent would come from within the ranks.

At the same time, Hegseth is reported to have been halting all promotions for black service women, no matter their achievements. I’ll let you in on something: I know what name Trump and his inner circle use for black people. My question is, why don’t you, and if you do, why are you not boiling over with outrage?

Racism is evil. But then again, everything Washington does is evil.

Resistance to invoking the articles of impeachment or the 25th Amendment against Trump is being used by Democrats like Chuck Schumer because they’re afraid such actions will compromise the results of the midterms. Attaboys fellas, way to put your country first. Democrats are pussies, as I’ve been saying for years.

Meanwhile, the war goes on. Photographs of an attacked U.S. airbase were censored to hide damaged aircraft and it’s crude work, like Trump used a Sharpie.

I was writing about how we’ve given Trump our honor, like selling our souls to the devil. Only we got nothing in exchange. We gave it up.

Well now I see that in saying such a thing, I would have been wrong.

The fact that enlisted ranks want no part of this war or Hegseth’s douchebaggery has restored my faith in them. They know what is right and what is wrong, and they didn’t volunteer for this. War crimes against a non belligerent country, a war unprovoked. They don’t like it.

Tonight, I thank the women and men who serve our country in uniform, and I give a heartfelt apology for doubting your morality and resolve. Well done, all of you!

It still appears that this unjustified war was meant as a diversion to distract the public from the Epstein scandal, which was even voiced by Trump himself: we need to put (the Epstein files) away because there’s a war on.

That’s not a direct quote. He spouts so much bullshit that it’s impossible to keep up with it.

And that is unprecedented even by his own first term record.

And when you’re so bad that extremist nuts like Alex Jones call you out, you should take the hint: you’re a full-goose ball sack.

And people ….

Are dying.
